BLUE FLOAT SIZE: 60cm x 60cm x 3cm YEAR: 2019 TECHNICAL DATA: Acrylic paint on box canvas CONCEPT: I didn’t set out with any concept or vision, I felt like painting with a strong colour and I covered the large canvas with a bright blue. I had great fun adding beautiful bright and complementary shades using a variety of brush shapes, sizes and strokes. This painting has a somewhat magical feel and I called it "Blue Float” due to the dominance of the blue and the floaty, feathery, almost fairy-like appearance of the brush strokes.
