Saki Yokoyama was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1985. In 2015 she took part in the "Sound Exhibition" at the Akiyoshidai International Art Village for the Yamaguchi Artist Support Project. In 2016 she joined the Gokigen Future Festa Workshop "Let's make a Christmas card", at the Tokiwa Park in Yamaguchi Ube City. In the 2020 she participated in the 20th International Watercolor Exchange NET Exhibition. Starting from 2020 her art-works can be found on the Instagram page “district.art gallery”.

“Everyday life that seems to be natural but also unnatural. Express what you feel in your daily life with colors and shapes.” Recent techniques include combined works that over-lap different images with each other but also pictures and photographs of plants. By su-perimposing, reality and unreality are combined and the artwork comes to life. “I want it to be a picture that can be displayed in the corner of my heart.”
