I painted this picture in 2017, but have not had a chance to exhibit it until now. I wanted to paint a picture of an uncle train just having fun and playing. This painting was also painted in the next period of my life, when I first encountered art brut and was ready to pursue it in my own way. I didn't know what to do to get closer to the Art Brut that I most admired. I was full of searching.
What does it mean to be truly free?
I still have a lot of questions, but I have come to see the "fun" that lies beyond creation?
