“Recently I came across an aerial photography, by artist photographer Yann ARTHUS-BERTRAND, of the stretch of an old highway near Denver, Colorado, with its multiple re-pairs like a tangle of informatics cables which gave me the idea of using the design and colouration for crochet knitted white polypropylene twine on a background of slate blue weaving of fabrics with purple and greenish yellow silk highlight”
