Hélène is a 29 years old artist. Even if she had been painting since her childhood, she first followed a more classical academic path. After 5 years as a journalist, she realized she needed to follow her heart and decided to develop her art.
Painting the body/bodies was an obvious choice. First of all, because the human body is fascinating. Also because in the past, when facing challenges and difficult times, it was her body who gave her the wake up call which led her to make life changing choices. Her paintings are therefore a tribute to her own body. She paints the body to extract it from the frames in which one would like to lock it.
She also does a lot of meditation and paints her works in full consciousness. She considers her art as a therapy. Her paintings are like a dialog with herself and with her heart.
