First one portrait appeared, and soon I felt that three women wanted to be on my canvas while I was painting a story came to my canvas.
They danced in the theater the girls of pleasure around the 19th 20th century, in Paris and sold their bodies to men of higher social class, so they could get higher on the social ladder for themselves!
There was always a mother figure you see her on the right she wears a blue cloth which stand for a symbolic protection of the younger gils.
