Thoughts on Karma and Destiny in connection with my artwork “The tired Beauty” Why do I paint? I see or think something and act by creating a work of art, and there we have” doing or action” and we have “the effect” that make up the basic philosophy of Karma. And when I create art, I do something and that is good KARMA, because without art and culture, our lives would be unimaginable. So now, thanks to my Karma, I have created something that is left to its Destiny. And unlike Karma, where you can influence and change the action and effect, with Destiny I cannot influence anything! The painting can be successful, implicitly I can too, if someone likes my “Tired Beauty” or it can simply be a flop and I will not be able to change anything about it! That is then my destiny and that of the painting and in this case, I should think about how I can do it better next time. The term Karma is based on the idea that every action a person takes has an impact on their future. It expresses the connection between cause and effect. Everything we experience is not Destiny, it is the result of what we do and think.
