Martina Karsch was born in Cologne, Germany in 1960. In 2011 she has started painting as an autodidact and from the following year began participating in solo and group the artist group "4 Elements," followed by various joint exhibitions in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany.
Since 2013 he has participated in the symposia of the "Bund fränkischer Künstler" at the Plas-senburg in Kulmbach, taking part in subsequent exhibitions at the Kulmbach symposia and the exhibition "Gemälde trifft den Ton - Paintings meet ceramics" at the Rosenthal Theater in Selb, in addition to annual exhibitions at the Plassenburg.
In recent years, Martina Karsch has been teaching various courses to develop different painting techniques in Bayreuth, Kulmbach, Kronach, and at the Art Academy in Bad Reichenhall, Bavaria, in 2020 with artist Gerhard Almbauer.

Solo exhibitions: "Arctic" (2014) at Galerie Ludwig in Kulmbach; "Water Worlds" (2016) at the Botanical Garden of the University of Bayreuth, Germany; in 2019 at Café Schoberth in Kulmbach.

Group exhibitions: "Lebens Art Wasser" (2023) at the Jean Paul Art Space in Bayreuth, as part of the Main River Film Festival; "Between Reality and Fiction - ART AS A TOOL OF SOCIAL DE-NUNCEMENT" (2023) at the Medina Art Gallery in Rome, Italy.
