Bio
Christian Kunze Chris Kunze graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Painting/Illustration. He has had a long & successful career in Advertising and Promotion. His illustrations and designs have been used in books, magazines, newspapers, product packaging and logo design. His clients range from the corporate world to local businesses; he has done work from creating the Blue Buffalo pet food logo, to designing the emblem for Kempo Karate School, a small local business in Connecticut. Chris has also been a freelance storyboard artist for many years and recently worked with Zantac and Bic pens. Chris’ fine art has remained an important part of his life for the past 27 years. Visiting museums and galleries has fueled and inspired his continued education and appreciation of art. The artists that have been a driving force include John Singer Sargent, George Bellows, Richard Diebenkorn and Wayne Thiebaud. He has had many solo and group shows in New York City, Westchester County and lower Connecticut, showcasing his oil paintings and more recently his watercolors. He continues to sell his work on Saatchi Art. Teaching is a passion that has come to the forefront. He has been teaching a plethora of subjects among them figure drawing, oil painting, watercolors, and more at local Westchester art schools. He is currently teaching at Inspira Art Collective.
