Maki Despite being a creator for the last 10years , this will be my first time exhibiting my work. I first encountered Candle making 10years ago and at that time it was done just for fun , however after meeting a respected candle artist in 2017 my mindset changed dramatically. The way that I make candles has changed from a purely practical approach to one of trying to charm people with color. During this process of change I realized the wonderfulness and allure that color holds. In recent time both alcohol ink art and botanical painting have joined my means of self expression and as a way to further convey the power of color to as many people as possible. With these personal works , I will continue to do all I can to bring color into peoples lives and light up their hearts.
