Grada Snijder graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Education. After graduating, she started her career as a Visual Arts teacher. Despite her role as a teacher, which gave her both pleasure and satisfaction, she missed creating her own art. In 2018 she decided to change course and started working part-time. Her first pastel portrait soon followed, which she followed up with more artwork. In her work she tries to capture people, their mutual interaction and the emotions that an individual person radiates.
