ANGEL WALK SIZE: 60cm x 60cm x 3cm YEAR: 2019 TECHNICAL DATA: Acrylic paint on box canvas CONCEPT: I was drawn to paint with a bright pink so I simply started adding long wide strokes of pink acrylic paint to the large canvas and intuitively progressed with the integration and movement of the colours using a variety of paintbrush shapes and sizes. I think the splashes of cobalt teal paint across the front finish it off beautifully. When the painting was completed, I felt it had the mystical energy or feel of angels or spirits moving across from the left to the right of the painting, so I called it “Angel Walk”.
