I am currently a practicing physician. I was born on October 6, 1961, in Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan, where winters are long and ski-ing has always been my specialty.

When I was a child, I preferred to work with clay rather than paint, because it allowed me to immerse myself in the world of images by myself. I liked the process of giving shape to the images that came into my head with clay.
