Painted specifically for the “Coming out” exhibition, this work is my abstract interpretation of assert-ing oneself and letting others and ourselves see who we are it through the black facade that we can have. Everyone has a social wall to meet a standard whether they are homosexual or heterosexual. The most beautiful thing is when we let others see all the colors in us to show who we really are.
