My name is Amanda Polyviou. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, I first picked up a paintbrush as a child and never looked back. I grew up inspired by the many wonderful art galleries in Melbourne and I inspired to one day have my artwork in a gallery. I have lived in Brisbane for 6 years where I plan to make my forever home and am inspired by Queensland's beauty which reflects in my artwork. I am a self-taught abstract artist who creates a range of art styles. My favourite being abstract ocean and sunset art. I studied art throughout my school years and have participated in the RAW artists exhibition is Brisbane Australia. I love trying new art styles and using mixed medias of acrylics and oils along with paint brushes, knife pallets and paint rollers for backgrounds. My favourite artists are Iris Scott and Kathleen Rhee.
