Torsten Wolber I was born in 1964 and studied graphic design and illustration. I worked as a freelance illustrator and teacher for almost 30 years, until I dedicated myself exclusively to oil painting in 2020. In countless plein-air works, created on site over 10 years, I learned to note down impressions quickly and accurately. This way of working flows into my studio work, which includes portraits and figurative art. I live and work in Cologne/Germany.
